Areas we cover
Every White Rock neighbourhood is in the delivery area. An adult 19 or older needs to meet the driver, so these details help.
Uptown and Johnston Road
Uptown has many apartment and mixed-use buildings. Enter your unit number and entry code at checkout, and if visitors cannot get past the front door, plan to meet the driver in the lobby.
Five Corners
Shops, townhouses and older homes share short blocks here. If your door is around the corner from your street address, or off a lane, add that to the delivery notes.
East Beach
Many homes sit on steep streets and lanes above Marine Drive, some with stairs up from the road. Mention stairs, a side gate or a door that is hard to see.
West Beach and Marine Drive
Parking near the pier and promenade can be hard to find on busy days. Orders go to your home or building, never to the promenade or beach, so a clear house or unit number matters most here.
Hillside
Between the waterfront and Uptown, streets are steep and some homes sit well above or below road level. A note on where the driver should stop and which door to use helps, especially in wet or icy weather.
White Rock or South Surrey?
White Rock is a separate city from Surrey. Ocean Park, Crescent Beach and Semiahmoo Town Centre are in the City of Surrey. They are part of our South Surrey area, described on our Surrey delivery page. The difference matters for local rules: South Surrey addresses fall under City of Surrey bylaws, not White Rock’s.
White Rock cannabis rules
In BC you must be 19 or older to buy, possess or use non-medical cannabis, and adults can carry up to 30 grams of dried cannabis, or its equivalent, in public.
White Rock’s Public Health Smoking Protection Bylaw bans smoking in outdoor gathering places under city jurisdiction, including parks, sports fields, playgrounds, the promenade, the pier and the beach. The city updated the bylaw to name cannabis, so the ban covers smoking cannabis and using e-cigarettes. Smoking is also banned within 7.5 metres of customer service areas, such as patios, and of the entrances, windows that open and air intakes of buildings open to the public.
Provincial law adds more limits, such as no smoking or vaping cannabis near schools or within six metres of a bus stop, and, with narrow exceptions, no use by drivers or passengers in a vehicle. See the Province’s page on where you can consume cannabis and our guide to cannabis rules in Surrey, Langley and White Rock.
