Pre-roll sizes and packs

A pre-roll is dried cannabis already rolled in paper. Pre-rolls are usually sold as 0.5 g or 1 g singles, or as multipacks of several pre-rolls. Each listing will show the weight of one pre-roll and of the whole pack, the strain type, and the THC and CBD content from the label. Health Canada treats an infused pre-roll, one with added kief or hash, as a cannabis extract, not dried cannabis, and the class must appear on the product label. The federal possession calculator shows how dried cannabis and concentrates such as hash count toward the 30 g public possession limit.

Accessories

Accessories added to the menu may include rolling papers and kits, grinders, 510-thread batteries and storage jars. A 510 battery is used with cartridges that have a standard 510 thread; any such cartridges will be listed under THC Pens. Check the product details for the thread type and charging connection. You can also view only pre-rolls or only accessories.

Freshness and storage

Cannabis labels show the lot number and the date the product was packaged, so you can see how recently a pre-roll was packed. Pre-rolls can dry out once the tube or pack is opened, so close it again after use and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Health Canada advises keeping cannabis in its original packaging and storing it locked away, out of sight and reach of children and pets.
